Zelensky: We can fight Russia for 10 years

“Ukraine cannot give up its territories,” President Vladimir Zelensky told CNN in an interview on Sunday.

“We cannot give up our territory, but we must find some dialogue with Russia. If they are capable of that, then we are ready. If there is an opportunity to talk, then we will talk, but not based on the Russian ultimatum. a matter of attitude towards us, “he added.

At the same time, Zelensky noted that “the sooner the dialogue begins, the fewer people will die,” but he did not rule out another option: “We can fight the Russian Federation for 10 years,” he added.

“The chances of successful negotiations with Russia are diminishing, and Ukrainian society is reluctant to continue the dialogue,” Zelensky said. “Think of Bucha, Volnovakha, Borodyanka, Mariupol. There comes a time when no one wants to talk. Our society does not want us to continue negotiations,” he said.

The Ukrainian president also believes that refugees who have left Ukraine should not yet return to their homes. “First, these are women and children. They must return when the situation stabilizes.”

At the same time, Zelensky expressed confidence that most of the refugees want to return to Ukraine and will be able to do so when the hostilities end. “I know the statistics, 93-95% of those who left want to return home,” he added. Read more: Zelensky: Ukraine has no intention of surrendering

Zelensky: Prepare the world for a possible Russian nuclear attack

Krajina President Volodymyr Zelensky called on the world to “prepare” for Russia’s possible use of nuclear weapons during an interview with several Ukrainian media outlets, world news agencies reported.

“We should not wait for the moment when Russia decides to use its nuclear weapons. We must prepare for this,” Zelensky said in an interview with six Ukrainian news sites, as well as the president’s office in the Telegram.

“Not just me, but the whole world, all countries need to be concerned,” he said.

Zelensky reacted to comments made earlier by CIA Director William Burns, who said that given Russia’s failures in Ukraine, the threat of using tactical nuclear weapons from Moscow should not be underestimated.

Zelensky said in an interview that human life means nothing to Russia.

On the question of Russia’s possible use of chemical weapons, the Ukrainian president said it was important to be prepared, not to be afraid. “However, this is not a question for Ukraine, not only for Ukraine but for the whole world, in my opinion,” he added.
