The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov admitted that the authorities of the republic are involved in organizing hundreds of hacker attacks against Russian and Belarusian companies and institutions.

He said this in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País, TASS reported.

Fedorov said he “organized the world’s first cyber army”, with the help of which it was possible to carry out more than 660 cyberattacks against companies, banks, and institutions in Russia and Belarus.

“Currently we have about 300,000 specialists … Participation is voluntary and we organize it through Telegram, where we publish daily tasks. There is no personal contact with cyber volunteers, “the minister added.

In late February, due to the launch of a special military operation in Donbas, hackers from the group Anonymous declared cyberwar in Russia. The attackers attacked Russian Internet providers and government portals, as well as hacked the websites of major media outlets such as TASS, Kommersant, Izvestia, and Forbes, TASS recalls.
